Bachchan Pandey: Jacqueline Fernandez starts shooting for action-comedy

On Monday, Jacqueline Fernandez took to her social media handle and announced that she has kick-started the shooting for the action-comedy film, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles.

The ‘Murder’ actress shared a black and white picture with her co-star Akshay and captioned it as: “The mostttt excited today as I start shooting with @akshaykumar for #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey directed by @farhad_samji 🎬🔥 Are you ready to meet this gang in cinemas next year? 💥@WardaNadiadwala @NGEMovies”

‘Bachchan Pandey’ also marks Akshay and Jacqueline’s fourth outing after ‘Housefull 2’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Housefull 4’. While Sajid Nadiadwala’s 10th collaboration with Akshay. Reportedly, Kriti will play a journalist, aspiring to be a director, while the Khiladi Kumar plays the role of a gangster.

The film is the Hindi remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. The original film starred Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia. It will be high on action, drama, and humor. Helmed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Pvt Ltd.

On the work front, Jacqueline will also be seen in ‘Cirkus’, a directorial of Rohit Shetty with Ranveer Singh, Bhoot Police alongside Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Arjun Kapoor, Next in, ‘Kick 2’ opposite, Salman Khan.
