The deadly attack on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka carried out by terrorist killed more than 250 people and injured many. The bomb blasts that took place in three churches and tourist hotels was condemned by people across the globe. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was one of them. The actress was shocked by the destruction caused by the terror attacks in her home country.

She has taken to her Instagram profile and shared an emotional video, explaining that she needs time to grasp everything and also asked her fans to unite for Sri Lanka and help out the victims of the terror attack that shook the island country.

In a series of short video clips, Jacqueline expressed her opinions regarding the entire incident and how it has affected her and the other people. She has also requested her fans to help the victims through the medium of an organization named Trail. She further added how the organization has been helping out the victims in rebuilding their lives. Jacqueline also made a request to the people of Sri Lanka to stay strong, positive and united.

Jacqueline said, “I have teamed up with an organization called Trail. Trail is currently helping all the victims of last week’s tragedy, rebuild our lives. So I would like to take this opportunity to ask all of you to please join me in uniting as one and helping these victims rebuild their lives. Let’s put aside nationality, caste, ethnicity, and religion and come together as one.”

Not only Jacqueline but many other Bollywood celebrities also condemned the ghastly terror attacks in Sri Lanka. From Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Sidharth Malhotra each one expressed their opinions regarding the same and condemned the inhuman act.

On the work front, Jacqueline Fernandez will next be seen in action flick ‘Drive’ co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. She also has ‘Kick 2’ with Salman Khan in her kitty.
