Jung Joon Won Caught Underage Drinking And Smoking; His Agency Issues An Apology

The 16-year-old South Korean actor, Jung Joon-won who rose to fame with the drama, ‘The World Of The Married’ is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The underage actor caught drinking and smoking cigarettes with a few of his friends. As his pictures go viral on Facebook and his agency issued an apology statement on behalf of the teenager.

Just when Joon-won was garnering many accolades for his performance in the drama, the drinking and smoking controversy harmed his reputation in the Kpop industry. The production team of ‘The World Of The Married’ made an official announcement about it and issued an apology.

As per the report in Soompi, the Dain Entertainment stated in their official statement that, “This is the agency’s response regarding actor, Jung Joon Won’s social media posts that surfaced today. First of all, we sincerely apologize for the lack of our part while managing the actor. We are currently investigating the situation internally and will not let this happen again. We are sorry for causing such an incident when society is in a chaotic situation due to COVID-19. We also, sincerely apologize to the production team of the drama, The World Of The Married. In the future, we will do our best to prevent such an incident from recurring and move towards improvement by managing our actors more carefully. Thank you.”

Joon Won made his acting debut when he was 8-year-old and he has also won few awards for his asking skills. As per the reports,  the actor is not a part of the last two episodes i.e episode 15 and 16, of the drama which is scheduled to broadcast this week.
