Junglee Box Office Collection Day 1: Vidyut Jammwal Starrer Fares Better Than Expected
‘Junglee’ Box-Office Report: Vidyut Jammwal’s action-adventure film is off to a good start
Vidyut Jammwal’s Junglee was released this Friday and clashed with Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bhal starrer Notebook. The film Junglee outperformed and beaten Notebook at the box office earning Rs 3.35 crore on its opening day. The amount is quite decent for Vidyut Jammwal as it was released on limited screens and got leaked on its releasing day.
Taking to Twitter, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first-day box office collection of Junglee. He wrote on Twitter” “#Junglee has a mixed start on Day 1… Fares better in mass pockets, but is dull/ordinary elsewhere… Has to catch speed over the weekend to post a satisfactory total… Fri ₹ 3.35 cr. India biz.”

Directed by international director Chuck Russell, who has earlier directed ‘The Mask’ and ‘The Scorpion King’, was off to a slow start in the morning. However, it picked up the pace in the latter half and managed to earn almost Rs 3.35 crores.
Apart from Vidyut Jammwal, the film also stars Pooja Sawant, Asha Bhat, Makarand Deshpande, Atul Kulkarni and Akshay Oberoi. The film which has been made on a budget of Rs 22 crore is likely to perform better over the weekend.
The film talks about the conflict between man and animals. In the film, Vidyut played the role of a vet who shares an endearing bond with the animals. On his homecoming to his elephant reserve, he encounters and fights an international poacher’s racket to ensure the safety of his animal friends.
