Irrfan Khan was not a known face only in Bollywood. He was also known internationally. Irrfan had appeared in international films such as Jurassic World, Inferno, Life of Pi, and Slumdog Millionaire among others. The entire country is mourning the death of the marvelous actor. Also, Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow took to his Twitter handle to mourn the death of Irrfan.

“Deeply sad to have lost #IrrfanKhan. A thoughtful man who found beauty in the world around him, even in pain. In our last correspondence, he asked me to remember “the wonderful aspects of our existence” in the darkest of days. Here he is, laughing,” he tweeted.

Filmmaker Ava DuVernay shared a black-and-white picture of the actor and tweeted, “A grateful fan of #IrrfanKhan here. Gone too soon. When he is on screen, you can’t take your eyes off of him. He lives on in his films.”

Irrfan Khan announced he had a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018. He came back to India after his treatment in London. He also made a comeback with ‘Angrezi Medium’.

On Tuesday i.e April 28, he was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital as he was suffering from ‘colon infection’. He was in the ICU and the news of his death broke today.
