Newlywed actress Kajal Aggarwal opens up about being diagnosed with asthma at 5
South star Kajal Aggarwal recently shared an update about her health. The actress took to Instagram and opened up on her battle from Bronchial Asthma. She shared that she contracted the disease at the tender age of five. Kajal had to adhere to dietary restrictions and give up chocolates and dairy products. She further added that using an inhaler is immensely helpful but it has a social stigma attached to it.

Kajal wrote, “At the age of five, I was diagnosed with bronchial Asthma, the first thing I remember was having major dietary restrictions. Imagine a kid who had to steer clear of dairy and chocolate. And it’s not like it got any easier as I grew up (sic).”
Kajal added, “Every travel, winter, or every time I was exposed to any sort of dust or smoke, something that’s prevalent in our country, my symptoms flared up. In order to deal with such things in the best possible way, I started using inhalers. And I noticed a change almost instantly (sic).”

The actress has pledged to spread awareness about bronchial asthma and the use of inhalers.
On the work front, Kajal Aggarwal is now waiting for the release of her digital debut, Live Telecast, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The horror web series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from February 12 onwards. She also has Mosagallu, Acharya, Hey Sinamika and other projects too.
