Judgemental Hai Kya: Kangana Ranaut gets into an argument with journalist

Kangana Ranaut gets into an argument with journalists at Judgemental Hai Kya song launch and also defends sister Rangoli.


Actress Kangana Ranaut is once again embroiled in a new controversy. The actress at the song launch of her upcoming film Judgemental Hai Kya got embroiled in an argument with a journalist. Reportedly, Kangana had been upset with the manner in which her last film, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ had been reviewed. The Queen actress bashed the journalist and soon the two of them had a serious argument.

Kangana accused the journalist of running a “smear campaign” against her and accused him of calling her film “jingoistic”. He was heard saying that ‘you cannot do this’. The journalist reacted to Kangana’s allegations by telling her that its not fair on her part to say that. He further denied tweeting anything about Manikarnika. Many others too got involved in the argument.

The drama continued for some minutes as Ekta and Rajkummar looked on uncomfortably. After a while, the PR agency staff tried to pacify the reporter, but to no avail. Later, Ekta too tries to douse the flames.

Kangana even defended her sister Rangoli who is hitting headlines with her tweets.

The song Wakhra swag that was launched at the event, is a remake of an older Badshah song, sung by Nav Inder. The event was attended by Rajkummar Rao, Kangana Ranaut and producer Ekta Kapoor.

The film is produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. It also features Jimmy Sheirgill and Amyra Dastur in key roles. A Prakash Kovelamudi directorial ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’ is scheduled to be released on July 26, 2019. It was initially titled ‘Mental Hai Kya’ but was later renamed as ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.
