The UP police had earlier filed an FIR against her
Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor has recently been the subject of speculation for all the wrong reasons. The singer bore the brunt of heavy criticism when she revealed that she had tested positive for the coronavirus. As per reports, she hid the fact that she was infected with the virus and reportedly hosted a dinner party in a lavish hotel. She was accused of endangering the lives of others by not self-isolating herself post her return from London. The Kamli singer had returned from London on March 20. However, it is reported that she skipped screening at the airport. Kanika Kapoor will now be interrogated by Lucknow Police for endangering lives.
The singer was kept in an isolation ward in Lucknow after her diagnosis came out. While she has recovered and tested negative in her second COVID-19 test, she is not out of the hot waters yet. The UP police had earlier filed an FIR against her for negligence and disobedience. Now that Kanika Kapoor has recovered, reports suggest that she will be interrogated by the Lucknow Police.
