Karan Johar is planning a sequel to his 2008 film Dostana which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham is pivotal roles. Reports suggest that the director now has a good script and has already cast Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra but is looking for one more male actor.

While fans had already believed these rumours, Karan Johar took to Twitter to clarify these doubts. His tweet read, “Hello!!! All news circulating about DOSTANA 2 is untrue!!! Lots of speculation which is entirely baseless!!”
Ever after that, Karan was accused of nepotism by audiences. A user tweeted, “Karan Johar can win Gold medal in launching Start Kids……. #Dostana2 #nepotism #KaranJohar.” Karan didn’t keep quiet for long and gave him a befitting reply. He replied to his tweet saying, “And you will win the Bronze for Bullshit!”

Recently, Karan also released the star cast of his next film ‘Takkht’ and twitterati accused him of nepotism once again. On the work front, Karan is coming back with his talk show Koffee With Karan Season 6. Reports suggested that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are going to be the first ones to come on the set. However, he cleared the rumours and took to his Twitter account to say, “CLARIFICATION ALERT!!!! All “conjecture” surrounding the opening episode of #KoffeeWithKaran is UNTRUE! The team and I are yet to decide the pairings of the show!!! Please do wait for official information before speculation! Love and Koffee to all of you!!!!?❤️❤️
