Loveyatri box office collection Day 1: Aayush Sharma-starrer has a poor opening

Loveyatri is a Salman Khan production which stars Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. The film had a poor first day at the box office. It grossed in the range of Rs 1.75-2 crore nett range. The film may have lost close to Rs 10 lakhs due to the cinema strike in Madhya Pradesh.

It may be tough for Loveyatri as box office collections were weaker than Andhadhun.

As for the critics also, the film has not got a very good review. Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain both are quite bland as newbies. The story is a heavy dose of ‘been there, seen that’ and the plot is very predictable. Visuallyl the film is very appealing as it shows richly decorated sets, vibrant costumes and energetic dancing against the backdrop of Navratri festival in Vadodara. Later, the scene shifts to the banks of the River Thames in London.

Since the film grossed lesser than Ayushamann Khurrana-Radhika Apte starrer Andhadhun, it is expected that the film will stay lower than Andhadhun and will not do that well.

Apart from Aayush and Warina, the film also stars Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Pratik Gandhi and Sajeel Parekh.
