Thalapathy 65: Madonna Sebastian to star opposite Thalapathy Vijay?

Thalapathy Vijay’s 64th film titled ‘Master‘ is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie features Malavika Mohanan opposite the superstar. Though the movie is yet to release, rumours abound about Vijay’s next tentatively titled Thalapathy 65. Acclaimed-filmmaker AR Murugadoss will be directing Vijay’s upcoming film, which is likely to be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Reportedly Premam actor Madonna Sebastian has been roped in to play the female lead.

As per the India Today report, Murugadoss discussed the project to Madonna over a video call. The latter was quite impressed with the script. There will be two heroines in the film and Madonna has been finalized for one of the roles. Madonna Sebastian has been signed to play a pivotal role in the Vijay starrer.

Thalapathy 65 is currently in its pre-production phase. Several reports suggest that Thalapathy Vijay will be making an important announcement about it on his birthday on 22 June.

Malayalam actress Madonna Sebastian, was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s production venture, Vaanam Kottatum. She had made her debut with Malayalam blockbuster Premam. She entered Kollywood with Vijay Sethupathi’s Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum. Kavan, Pa Paandi, Junga, and Vaanam Kottatum are her other Tamil movies.

Thalapathy Vijay will also be seen in the upcoming release Master. It is being bankrolled by XB Film Creators. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist. It also has Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri Kishan of 96 fame, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das.
