Matthew Hayden Shares A Throwback Photo With Thalapathy Vijay, MS Dhoni
Vijay and Lady Superstar Nayanthara were the Brand Ambassadors of Chennai Super Kings in 2008
Celebrating the birthday of Indian’s most successful skipper, MS Dhoni, Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden shared a throwback photo of them along with popular Kollywood star Vijay. The picture is from IPL 2008 where Vijay and Lady Superstar Nayanthara were the Brand Ambassadors of Chennai Super Kings. Chennai Super Kings placed third that year in the IPL rankings while Rajasthan Royals won the tournament.

Matthew Hayden shared the photo, which has him, MS Dhoni and Vijay sharing a laugh, on Instagram. Vijay is carrying his son on his back for this candid capture. Sharing the picture, Hayden wrote, “Happy Birthday @mahi7781 Blessing an happiness always brother. This is one of my favourite pictures with legendary Vijay Chandrasekhar @chennaiipl #yellove”

On the professional front, Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in Atlee Kumar directorial Bigil along with Nayanthara. He will be next seen in Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film was supposed to be released in the month of April. But it got delayed due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation. It is expected that the makers will come up with the official release date as soon as the situation is contained.
Meanwhile, Matthew Hayden has retired from all forms of cricket in 2012. MS Dhoni is also on his way out having all retired from test cricket. It is speculated that this year’s IPL could have been his last. However, IPL 2020 was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
