Mayday: Ajay Devgn, Big B Begin Shoot in Hyderabad; Announce Release Date

Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn is all set to reunite with Amitabh Bachchan for his next Mayday. The actor will be directing the Shahenshah and Rakul Preet Singh for his next venture. Devgn who is also producing the movie took to his Twitter to share that they have begun shooting for Mayday in Hyderabad. He also added the film will hit the screens on 29th April 2022.

Sharing a picture of the clapboard, Ajay Devgn tweeted, “Happy to officially begin MayDay in a start-to-finish shooting schedule. Seek blessings from the Almighty and my parents. Nothing is complete without the support of all my fans, family and well-wishers. Releases on 29th April 2022.”

As reported by sources to Mumbai Mirror, “The Mayday team will be shooting nonstop till January-end. Rakul will join the shoot from mid-December and the entire team will be stationed together in Hyderabad in a bio-bubble.”

Mayday will be a thriller drama, which will have Ajay playing a pilot. Rakul Preet will depict the role of co-pilot. The makers have not revealed the details of Amitabh Bachchan’s character.

Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn have worked together in “Major Sahab”, “Khakee”, “Satyagraha”, and “Hindustan Ki Kasam”. On the other hand, Ajay and Rakul were seen romancing each other in 2019’s De De Pyaar De.
