Mayday: Rakul Preet Singh Joins Ajay Devgn & Amitabh Bachchan

Ajay Devgn had recently announced his new project titled Mayday. The Singham is all set to direct megastar Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. Now the makers have announced a new member all set to join the team. She is none other than actress Rakul Preet Singh. She will be seen essaying the role of a co-pilot in this edge-of-the-seat drama.

Rakul took to Twitter to share the news with her fans. She wrote, “Can’t express how thrilled iam to be on board ( literally ) as a copilot in #MAYDAY . It’s a dream come true to work with @SrBachchan sir . @ajaydevgn thankyouuu and preparing for takeoff.”

Mayday will be a thriller drama, which will have Ajay playing a pilot. The makers have not revealed the details of Amitabh Bachchan’s character. Big B and Devgn have come together after a gap of 13 years. The duo have shared screen space in films like Major Saab, Khakee and Satyagraha. .This will mark Rakul’s second collaboration with Ajay after De De Pyaar De and she will be sharing the screen with Big B for the first time.

Mayday is all set to go on floor in December this year. Rakul will join the team for their Hyderabad shoot.
