Mika Singh walks out as a free man from jail in UAE
Controversy’s favorite child singer Mika Singh is once again in headlines when he was arrested in Dubai following a complaint of sexual misconduct by a 17-year-old Brazilian model who accused him of sending her inappropriate pictures. Now, going by a report in Pinkvilla, the singer has been released from the prison in Abu Dhabi and is out of police custody.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Mika’s brother Daler Mehndi and his spokesperson confirmed that the singer is now out of jail and the hearing was on Monday. Navdeep Singh Suri, the Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates told news agency ANI on Saturday, “Following efforts by the embassy, singer Mika was released at 11:30 pm last night. He will be produced before a court today.”

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Mika’s brother singer Daler Mehndi said that the girl who accused his brother of sexual harassment was working with the singer for the last 3-4 years in his group. Mehndi had also added that her mother also accompanied her on tours.
This is not the first time that Mika was involved in a controversy. In the year 2006, he had forcibly kissed Rakhi at his birthday bash for which she had taken him to court.
