Accusing the BJP government of allowing the fraudsters to flee the country, Roy said that PM Modi is running the ‘Modi Syndicate’, which includes the name of Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi and the Big Modi. He stated that syndicate is looting India and said, “All the bank defrauders were associated with BJP.”

Alleging further that demonetisation was a ‘Jumla’ and led to farmers suicide in India, Prof Roy said, “Demonetisation is another jumla and led to farmer’s suicide.” Taking a jibe at PM Modi’s comments that even Durga poojas in West Bengal not being safe, the AITC leader further said, “PM spoke that there will be no Durga poojas in West Bengal but he did not say anything about the development that West Bengal has achieved. He spoke so much that his Pandal fell down.”

Adding further, he said that PM Modi has become a ‘hawker’ (traveling salesman) and India do not him to travel abroad for the development. He said, “If India has to stand it has to stand by itself, PM doesn’t have to behave like a hawker.”
