On Saturday, i,e August 15, the former Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced about getting retired from all sort of games. The cricketer shared the update with his fans on social media alongside an heartfelt video.

From the year 1929, he has shown an incredible career graph. He has three International Cricket Council (ICC) trophies-the World Cup, the World Twenty20 and the Champions Trophy to his credit and crazy fan following all across the country. In his Insta post, he shared a video, which is collage of several pictures of the beautiful moments from his journey in the sports industry. In the caption of his post, he wrote, “Thanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired”.

For the unversed, MS Dhoni had opted out from ODI captaincy in the month of January in 2017, after having retired from Tests on December 30, 2014. He led India in 199 ODIs and 72 T20Is. The 39-year-old cricketer had also led India to the top of the world Test rankings. And he is the only player to captain in more than 50 matches in each of the three formats.
