Veteran actress, Neelima Azeem in her recent conversation spilled the beans on her failed marriages. She also opens up on how two of her sons-Shahid and Ishaan have learned from her mistakes in life. The actress got married at the age of 20 to Pankaj Tripathi and soon she had welcomed her first son, Shahid Kapoor. After getting divorced to Pankaj, she got married to Rajesh Khatter in 1990. She welcomed her second child Ishaan with Khatter and a few years later she parted ways with him as well. The actress in her latest interview reminisces beautiful memories from her life.

In the recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Neelima was asked to comment on both of her sons. Describing about Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan, she said, “I sometimes even would like to say that maybe children who are watching us taking certain choices and then having those mighty falls might decide to be more stable than us. So, I’d like to give that credit to the kids and not hog all the limelight. And ill say ‘oh I was so wonderful that they learned all the wonderful things they saw in me.’ They saw some flaws also and they said, ‘okay, this is not what I am going inculcate this’ because the DNA is the same, we are going to be very consciously keeping a part of us out. So, they must have even learned from my pitfalls and my impulsive or wrong, silly choices or whatever you may say. In a complete sense, in a larger perspective, I have been there for them.”
While spilling the beans on her bonding with daughter-in-law, Mira Rajput, Neelima said that with Mira she has all the understanding of two women who are usually on the same page and have similar choices. “We’re both cool. With Ishaan, I have this wonderful sense of companionship where we are similar in certain ways and we move in rhythm very well together, and I feel very comfortable with Ishaan,” added Neelima further.
