News Anchor Makes Goof-Up By Saying April 40 Instead Of April 30-Watch Video

If you go on Twitter, you will see #40_अप्रैल is trending. Well, wondering why? Aaj Tak journalist Chitra Tripathi had made a goof-up while reading news on Coronavirus lockdown. Instead of saying that the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government has extended the lockdown due to the novel coronavirus pandemic to April 30, she had a slip of the tongue and said April 40.

The video has gone viral on social media and meme lords have come with some of the hilarious memes. Later, the news anchor gave clarification on the mistake. She tweeted, “स्क्रीन का टॉप बैंड देखें. कल चौबीस घंटे में 40 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी. वहीं आँकड़ा दिमाग़ में घूम रहा था..चालीस लोगों की कोरोना से एक दिन में मौत परेशान करती है..वहीं आँकड़ा दिमाग़ में रह गया था..इसीलिये ऐसा हो गया..”
