Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have tied the knot on December 1 and 2 at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur as per Christian and Hindu rituals. For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka wore a red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Whereas her husband Nick Jonas complemented her in a beige sherwani. The duo opted for shoes by Christian Louboutin x Sabyasachi.
But wait there is some more. Peecee’s lehenga had some special detailing as per the ‘Quantico’ stars instructions. Yes, as requested by Priyanka Chopra, the names of her now-husband, Nick Jonas and her parents, Ashok and Madhu Chopra, were sewn into the waistband of her skirt in Hindi.

As per Sabyasachi, Chopra’s wedding outfit was (obviously) custom-made, and it took 3,720 hours and 110 embroiderers from Kolkata to create the hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss and layers of thread work.
Paying homage to Mughal jewelry, the ‘Quantico’ chose to opt for traditional jewellery. Uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls set in 22 karat gold by Chopard were her picks for her wedding day. While her necklace featured 84.5 carats of pear-shaped diamonds set in 18k white gold, her earrings were pear-shaped diamonds totaling 6.07 carats. A diamond nose ring and a 16 carat oval-shaped maang tikka completed her look.
Nick, on the other hand, wore a quilted sherwani with a chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue saafa with a rose cut kalgi and a syndicate diamond necklace.
The couple is all set to host their first wedding reception in Delhi today.
