Parineeti Chopra shares The Girl On The Train release date

Parineeti Chopra starrer The Girl On The Train now has an official release date. The psychological thriller is slated to release on May 8, 2020. The Girl On The Train is an official Hindi remake of the 2016 Tate Taylor directed movie with the same name. Both movies are based on the 2015 bestseller The Girl On The Train written by Paula Hawkins.

The Hindi remake of the movie will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. This Bollywood rehash will also feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary in primary roles.

Parineeti Chopra finished shooting in London for The Girl On The Train a few months ago. “So, I leave London after seven weeks, finishing The Girl On The Train. Words fail me. Feelings overwhelm me. This is a film that has for the first time stayed, with me after I’ve finished it,” she said.

Parineeti Chopra also took to Twitter recently to announce the release date for her upcoming film. The actress wrote, “The most thrilling ride of my life!!! Guyssss the hindi adaptation of #TheGirlOnTheTrain will release on 8th May 2020.”

The actress also lit up Instagram with stills from the upcoming movie.

The Girl On The Train has been produced by Reliance Entertainment. Kirti Kulhai plays a British cop in the film. Shooting for the remake began in London in early August. The original Emily Blunt starrer movie received mixed reviews despite being a box office hit. The film garnered $173.2 million at the box office.

Parineeti Chopra is not slowing down after wrapping up the shoot for the Bollywood remake. She is now shooting for a sports biopic on the life of badminton player Saina Nehwal.
