As reported by Mumbai Mirror, The PM added that “The entire nation is with the families of martyred soldiers. India will defend every stone every inch of its territory. India is a peace-loving country which has always tried to maintain friendly relations with our neighbours. We never instigate anyone but we will never compromise with the sovereignty of the nation.”

PM Narendra Modi has called an all-party meeting to discuss the alarming situation at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The all-party virtual meeting will take place at 5 pm on June 19.

Twenty Indian Army personnel, including a colonel, were killed in clashes with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on Monday night. This is the most violent face-off between the neighboring countries in five decades. Hand-to-hand fighting raged across the Galwan river valley for over eight hours on Monday night.

Sources told CNN-News18, Army, Navy, and Air Force are on the highest level of alert and there is a forward movement of assets.
