Privacy invasion is often an undesired but inevitable part of being a celebrity. In this age of social media, this includes social media accounts of famous personalities being hacked by nefarious individuals. Pooja Hegde has become the latest victim of this as her Instagram account was hacked recently. In the aftermath of this, Pooja Hegde had a message for all her Instagram followers.
She took to Twitter to interact with her fans. She wrote, “Spent the last hour stressing about the safety of my Instagram account. Thanking my technical team for instant help at this hour. Finally, got my hands back on my Instagram, follow back or post in d past hour from my account has been done will be undone. Ty.”
She also tweeted, “Hi guys, so I’ve been informed by my team that my insta account has been hacked and my digital team is helping me with it. Please do not accept any invitations or pass out any personal information out to the person asking. Thank you.”
Pooja Hegde is far from the only celebrity to have her Instagram account hacked. Last year, Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor also had their Instagram accounts hacked. In addition, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Adnan Sami, and Kiara Advani have also had their social media accounts hacked over the past year. Meanwhile, international celebrities like Jessica Alba have also had to deal with their accounts being hacked.
On the work front, Pooja Hegde will next be seen with Prabhas in their upcoming film, tentatively titled Jaan.
