Prakash Raj calls PM Modi ‘insensitive’ over spending Rs 3000 crores to build ‘Statue of Unity’

The National Award-winning actor Prakash Raj lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he is one of the insensitive leaders of the country.

Prakash Raj said when Kerala state devastated due to floods, the PM who first announced Rs 100 crore and later sends Rs 500 crore and who thinks he can spend Rs 3000 crore to build a statue. He further asked the people to think of the insensitive leaders of this country. He also questioned whether a leader with discreet knowledge would do such a job.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Prakash Raj shared a video and wrote, “STATUE or HUMAN BEING..Dear TROLLS..and FAKE NEWS FACTORY OWNERS who distorted what I said in an interaction on GOD.. “What do you think of a leader of this country, when Kerala flood happens he give Rs 100 crores and then sends Rs 500 crores and who thinks he can spend Rs 3000 crore to build a statue, What an insensitive leader do we have. You should raise that question.”

Previously, Prakash Raj blamed BJP and other right-wing groups for creating an atmosphere of fear in the country. He also questioned Modi’s silence on the 2nd anniversary of Demonetisation.
