Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu confirms Siddharth’s wedding mutually called off
The reason of the mutual decision remains undisclosed

According to some posts made by Ishita Kumar, the then fiance of Siddharth Chopra, she was unwell and had undergone a surgery. Madhu Chopra was pretty tight-lipped about the wedding and only mentioned “We are disappointed but what can you do when a person is unwell? We wish Ishita a speedy recovery”. In fact, the pictures of their Roka have been deleted in Ishita’s account while Priyanka Chopra has one photograph from their Roka in her account.
But now reports suggest that the wedding hasn’t been just postponed but it actually has been called off. Priyanka Chopra who had been in town for the wedding cast her vote, inaugurated her mother’s clinic and flew back home. Even Ishita Kumar had posted a picture of herself with a cryptic caption “Cheers to new beginnings.
With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings ”
While the previous reports said that the families were looking for a new Muhurat for the wedding, mama Madhu Chopra confirms that Siddharth and Ishita have mutually called it off. The mother remains tight-lipped regarding the reason why the wedding has been called off.
Previously, Siddharth Chopra was engaged to Kanika Mathur and the wedding was supposed to take place in Goa in 2015. But even that wedding was called off by the former couple.
