Priyanka Chopra walks out of ‘Bharat’, is Nick the reason?

Known for his action-packed movies, Ali Abbas Zafar is one of the Bollywood directors with whom people can go to any extent to work. However, Quantico star Priyanka Chopra is of another kind. In a latest update, Zafar took to the social media site in order to clarify that Chopra would not be associated with his upcoming film ‘Bharat’, due to personal commitments.

The announcement was made by the ace director in which he stated that the Bollywood diva is busy with her personal engagements with American singer Nick Zonas. Although, the message posted on twitter looked like the director and the team are happy with Chopra’s decision, it looked more like someone taking a jibe at her.

Zafar wrote, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life.”

According to the sources, recently ‘Bharat’ went on floors wherein actors Salman Khan and Disha Patani started shooting for it. Salman would be seen with five different looks spanning 60 years, with an addition in which he would look leaner and younger, just like in his 20s’. The celebrated actor would recreate his ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ look, which created immense excitement years backs amongst the audience.

Salman would be marking a hattrick with ‘Bharat’, as previous films – Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai – were blockbusters with the same director. The film is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt. Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The scheduled date for the release of the film is EID 2019.
