KGF Chapter 2: Raveena Tandon Opens Up About Her Character In KGF 2

As we have earlier reported that Raveena Tandon will be playing a pivotal role in Sanjay Dutt and Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2, the Satta actress has recently spoken about her role in KGF 2 and shared her experience of working with Sandalwood superstar Yash.

According to reports, Raveena Tandon will be essaying the role of Prime Minister Ramika Sen in KGF 2. When Raveena Tandon was asked to share her experience of filming for Yash starrer, she told Bombay Times, “This is my ninth or tenth South film and my second Kannad movie.

However, it is more of a pan-India film because it is releasing in all languages. It was something that really excited me because I have not played a character like what I’ve played in this film. She is positively great. It was a character that was very difficult to play because you couldn’t exactly be the villain of the story because you are also a positive character.

Speaking about her character in KGF 2, “I am playing the Prime Minister in the movie. Everyone says it is a take-off on Indira Gandhi, but no, it is not. It talks of the 70s and 80s and I think that is why everyone is assuming that I am playing a role similar to Ms Gandhi. I could be Sheikh Haseena for all you know!” she said.

Sharing her experience of shooting with the cast and crew of KGF Chapter 2, Raveena Tandon was quoted as saying to Bombay Times, “It was a pleasure shooting with Prashanth (Neel) and Yash. They are such wonderful guys and such a wonderful unit. I love shooting in the South and I’m looking forward to ‘KGF’ as much as you are.”

Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur the movie is scheduled to release on October 23, 2020.
