The Chinese mobile company has recently launched its two mobiles phones Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. In order to compete Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7, Realme, who has made its debut in India last year, launched Realme 3, which is being seen as the most suitable phone to give Redmi Note 7 a tough competition.

Realme 3 is said to be company’s sixth mobile phone launched in India over the period of time. Redmi Note 7 is all set to go official on March 6, whereas Realme 3 is likely to be released on March 12 in India. The company’s latest phone Realme 3 comes with the dual camera at the back, 6.2-inch FHD display and 4,230 mAh battery. Realme 3 has been powered by the processor MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor that was recently introduced by MediaTek at Mobile World Conference 2019. Realme 3 price in India starts with Rs 8,999 for 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

Talking about Realme 3 competitor Redmi Note 7 sports 6.3-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Prior to India, Redmi Note 7 was launched in China. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The 3GB and 32GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 9,999 in India.

Looking at its available variants, Redmi Note 7 is merely available in 3GB+4GB of RAM and 32GB+64GB of internal storage variants. Whereas, Realme 3 is also available in 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage too and that can be further expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD.

Comparing Realme 3 vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 camera, Realme 3 comes with 13 MP+2MP dual cameras with f/2.2 aperture, while Realme has featured a 13MP+2MP camera in its latest phone. As we have used the company’s earlier phones, Realme 2 has a good camera too and we can trust the brand if they come up with a better camera in Realme 3 than it would be difficult for Xiaomi to tacked the brand.

Talking about front camera, both the smartphones come with 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture with facial unlock feature. If we talk about Xiaomi’s front shooter it has given us quite decent quality as of now. So, If Realme 3 comes with a better selfie camera, than there are thousands of people are ready to jump.

Xiaomi has carved its space in the Indian market and Realme is merely a few phones old brand in India. We would not either suggest you buy Realme 3 or ditch Redmi Note 7. Talking about its overall performance, Redmi Note 7 is largely appreciated for adopting fast charger and providing Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which Realme 3 lacks in both. Realme 3 is not bad but if you are confused about buying between Realme 3 and Redmi Note 7, we would suggest you go for Xiaomi’.
