Revealed: The reason Sonam’s hubby Anand wore sneakers at their reception

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, tied the knot with her long-time beau Anand Ahuja. The Big Fat Punjabi wedding was a well attended affair with celebrities marking their presence. Netizens too had a field day trolling the Diva’s hubby’s unusual decision to wear sneakers at their reception and much more.

Recently, Sonam had to face the flak for her choice to take her husband’s surname. She soon retaliated and counter questioned that each one has an opinion on her name change but no one spoke about Anand’s decision to change his name.

The ‘Neerja’ star also opened up on her husband’s decision to sneakers at their reception for which he was trolled. Sonam said, “He wore sneakers to make fun of me and also because he did not want to be in formal shoes all evening.” She also added, “Anand didn’t realize and obviously not being of the industry, he wore sneakers and it was fun.”
