Rishi Kapoor Prayer Meet: Ranbir-Alia, Randhir-Babita Pay homage to the actor
Actor Rishi Kapoor’s demise sent shock waves across the country. The versatile actor passed away at a Mumbai hospital at the age of 67 after a long battle with cancer. Neetu Kapoor along with Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor organized a prayer meeting on the 13th day of his demise. The meet was held at Rishi Kapoor’s residence.

Riddhima took to social media to share two pictures from the prayer meeting. Sharing a photo of herself standing next to her late father’s photograph, she wrote, “Love you always, Papa.”
The other photo featured Riddhima with her brother Ranbir Kapoor. The siblings were seen sitting with together. Riddhima wrote, “Your legacy will live on forever. We love you (sic).”
For the unversed, due to lockdown, Riddhima arrived in Mumbai from Delhi to be with her mom and brother Ranbir two days after the actor passed away. She has been since then sharing some throwback pictures of her father with emotional messages.
The prayer meet, was also attended by Alia Bhatt and extended family members. Shweta Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Randhir Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan, Aadar Jain, Reema Jain, and Anissa Malhotra.
Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He underwent treatment in New York and returned to Mumbai after battling with cancer for almost a year. Rishiji was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. The actor breathed his last on April 30. The last rites of the actor were performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium in Mumbai. His ashes were immersed in the Banganga Tank in Mumbai.
