Rocket League Unveils New Arena for Lucky Lanterns Event

Rocket League is hosting its first event of 2020 titled the Lucky Lanterns Event. The new event was announced with a new trailer. While most of the content in the Lucky Lanterns event is cosmetic, there is also a new free-for-all arena being introduced to Rocket League for the event. The arena is a surreal take on the Chinese mountains and offers a picturesque arena for the players.

In addition, there will be plenty of new paint jobs, antennae, wheels, boost, and trail effects that players can get through the event. Players can also play online matches to earn Red Envelopes. These can be redeemed for items such as the  Paper Dragon Topper and the Fortune Wheels during the Lucky Lanterns Event in Rocket League. Moreover, the Red Envelopes can also be used to unlock Goldern Lanterns. The Golden Lanterns contain items from Impact, Overdrive, and Victory Series. Players will also get a login item during the event.

A list of the rewards offered, according to the Rocket League website, includes:

• 50 Red Envelopes: Paper Dragon (Antenna)
• 75 Red Envelopes: Lantern Fest (Topper)
• 75 Red Envelopes: Paper Dragon (Topper)
• 75 Red Envelopes: Richie Rat (Topper)
• 75 Red Envelopes: Ruckus (Trail)
• 75 Red Envelopes: Rat Racer (Player Title)
• 100 Red Envelopes: Spring Pagoda (Avatar Border)
• 100 Red Envelopes: Dragon (Octane Decal)
• 100 Red Envelopes: Yaojing (Dominus Decal)
• 100 Red Envelopes: Yaojing (Breakout Decal)
• 120 Red Envelopes: Red Envelopes (Boost)
• 150 Red Envelopes: Fortune (Wheels)

The Rocket League Lucky Lantern event will kick off on January 20, 2020 and conclude on February 10, 2020. Players will need to redeem their Red Envelopes by February 13, 2020.
