Sachin Tendulkar Discharged From Hospital, In Home Isolation
Sachin Tendulkar discharged from hospital, continue COVID recovery in home isolation.
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been discharged from the hospital on Thursday. The former Indian captain will now continue recuperating at home. The master blaster was hospitalised as a precautionary measure after testing positive for COVID-19.
Confirming the news Sachin posted a statement on Twitter. He wrote, “I have just come home from the hospital and will remain isolated while continuing to rest and recuperate. I would like to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers. Really appreciate it.”
He also thanked the medical staff and wrote,”I remain ever grateful to all the medical staff who took such good care of me & have been working tirelessly for over a year in such difficult circumstances.”

Sachin had tested coronavirus positive on March 27, whereas all his family members tested negative. He tested positive after participating in the Road Safety World Series Challenge veterans’ tournament in Raipur last month. He had shared the news on Twitter.
“I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative,” Tendulkar had tweeted.
Not only Sachin, three other members of India Legends team that played in the Road Safety World Series had also tested positive for the virus in the next few days. Yusuf Pathan, S Badrinath, and Irfan Pathan had all confirmed the news on Twitter.
