‘Adipurush’: Saif Ali Khan Issues Apology After His Controversial Comment Of Giving ‘Humane’ Side To Raavan 

Saif Ali Khan in his recent conversation with one of leading daily revealed about his preparations of portraying Raavan in Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’. The star has landed himself in a controversy after reveals about how the makers are looking forward giving the ‘humane’ side to Raavan and justifying the abduction of Sita in the upcoming mythological drama. He now issues an apology and clarifies his statement. 

A statement from Saif Ali Khan reads, I’ve been made aware that one of my statements during an interview, has caused a controversy and hurt people’s sentiments. This was never my intention or meant that way. I would like to sincerely apologise to everybody and withdraw my statement. Lord Ram has always been the symbol of Righteousness & Heroism for me. Adipurush is about celebrating the victory of good over evil and the entire team is working together to present the epic without any distortions.”

The apology comes after BJP leader Ram Kadam from Mumbai took to his Twitter handle and criticized Saif Ali Khan and the makers of ‘Adipurush’. Here, check out the tweet posts of the leader addressing the director, Om Raut and the team of this magnum opus.
