Jawaani Jaaneman: Not Kareena Kapoor, Kubbra Sait To Play Saif Ali Khan’s Girlfriend

This could be a bad news for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fans. Yes, the reports of Kareena playing the role of Saif’s girlfriend in Nitin Kakkar’s Jawaani Jaaneman turned out to be a rumour. According to a report in Pinkvilla, makers have not approached Bebo as they did not need any A-lister for the character.

The source told the publication, “It’s not a pivotal character to the plotline. The makers didn’t need an A-lister to come for the same. They never discussed it with Kareena at all. There was no point of her doing or not doing it. She was never offered the part only.”

The director has already roped in another beautiful lady who will play Saif Ali Khan’s girlfriend in the film. It is to be noted that she has already worked with Saif in a Web Series. “They were talking to Aditi Rao Hydari too but have eventually locked Kubbra Sait for that role. Although the screen time might not be too much, the role is special. The rumours started making rounds of social media when people noticed both Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were shooting in London for their respective projects.

Jawaani Jaaneman is an upcoming Hindi comedy film, which is produced by Saif Ali Khan’s production house Black Knight FIlms and Jaccky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaia F. The story of the film revolves around a relationship of a 40-year old father (Saif) and his daughter (Alaia F). The beautiful Alaia F is making her Bollywood debut with this film.

The film Jawaani Jaanewam is being shot in London and it will hit the theatres in November this year.
