Salman & Chiranjeevi To Share Screen Space In Lucifer’s Telugu Remake?

Megastar Chiranjeevi will soon be seen in the Telugu remake of hit Malayalam actioner Lucifer. The movie is tentatively titled, Godfather. Director Mohan Raja will helm the project. It is being produced by NV Prasad and Ram Charan. Rumours abound in Tollywood that the makers have also roped in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for a pivotal role.

As reported by sources to Great Andhra, Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi’s family share a bond of friendship for a long time. Chiranjeevi has approached Salman Khan personally to play an important role. The report further adds that the Bharat star has given his nod.

In the Malayalam movie, Lucifer Mohanlal was the hero and Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen in a cameo. In the Telugu version, Chiranjeevi reprises Mohanlal’s character. Salman Khan might reprise Prithviraj’s role. Rumours abound that lady superstar Nayanthara has been signed to play Chiranjeevi’s sister in the movie. The upcoming political drama will also star actor Satyadev in an important role.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the upcoming Telugu film, Acharya. The megastar is rumoured to be playing dual roles in the movie that is being directed by Koratala Siva.

Salman Khan on the other hand has Antim with Aayush Sharma and Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He will also play a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited upcoming action film Pathan. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles.
