Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali title to be changed?

Salman Khan is among the list of busiest actors in B-town currently. He is currently prepping to release Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Last year in January, the star had made the announcement of collaborating with Sajid Nadiadwala for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. SK had shared a tweet post about doing this film and he had revealed that Farhad Samji is directing it. According to the latest reports, the makers are considering changing the title.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali to feature Pooja Hegde, Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal in pivotal roles. According to the latest report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers are considering changing the title of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. A source informed the outlet, “They want to change the title from Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and rename it. They are contemplating on several titles and a new one will be locked very soon. The real reason to change the title is to avoid any sort of controversy around the film’s release. Both Salman and Sajid respect all religions, however, didn’t want anyone to misconstrue their title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali as something that makes fun of two festivals. Hence, the hunt is now on for a fresh title.” 

Reportedly, the plot of this film is set in the backdrop of the oneness of God and it would be centric to a family to hail from different religions. The report further mentions that the plot of this film is inspired by SK’s own family. As his father is Muslim and his mother is a Hindu. However, nothing has been official revealed by the makers as of yet.

Talking about Salman Khan’s other project, he recently wrapped up shooting for Antim: The Final Truth alongside Aayush Sharma. He is reportedly making cameo appearances in Pathan and Laal Singh Chaddha. He is also prepping to shoot Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif soon.
