Legendary Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away due to a cardiac arrest on July 3, 2020. The film industry was left reeling with the loss of yet another iconic personality. This year has been a sad one for the entertainment industry which lost stars like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput. Saroj Khan was a mainstay in the Bollywood film industry and had worked in over 200 films. However, there was a time when Saroj Khan confided to Salman Khan that she had stopped getting work in the industry.
As per reports, the choreographer had once told news media that Salman had called her to his home and promised to work with her. Moreover, Saroj Khan also stated that she could not share any more details about the said project but she knows that Salman will be true to his words.
During an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the iconic choreographer had stated that she missed working in movies. In addition, the beloved ‘Masterji’ shared that she ha never gone to offices looking for work. She preferred to let her work talk for her.
Moreover, she also talked about her experience of choreographing Madhuri Dixit in her last film, Kalank. It is reported she said that they had worked four years earlier in Gulaab Gang. She also added that she hoped people will remember Saroj Khan after seeing the movie. Kangana Ranaut also collaborated with Saroj Khan to do a song called Rajaji in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. The two had worked together in Tanu Weds Manu earlier.
