Along with Ragini Prashanth Renka, Loom Pepper, Veeren Khanna, and Rahul have been remanded to judicial custody till September 27. They all will be shifted to Parappana Agrahara Jail.

Ragini will be lodged in a dedicated special block in the prison. She will be allotted a special cell and the other inmates will not be allowed to meet her due to security reasons. The police has also increased the security of the prison and have restricted entry to evenings. This is to prevent the crowd from gathering outside to catch a glimpse of Ragini.

The CCB which is investigating the Sandalwood drugs case had arrested actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjana Galrani after raiding and searching their homes earlier. The Court is at present hearing the arguments regarding Sanjjana as the police have requested the court to extend her custody for five more days.

Before producing the actresses in the court the police had taken them for testing in a hospital. They were subjected to medical tests and COVID-19 tests at KC General Hospital. The doctors at the hospital had certified that the duo was healthy.
