Sarileru Neekevvaru: Mahesh Babu’s first look as Major Ajay Krishna is out

Makers introduce birthday boy Mahesh Babu as Major Ajay Krishna from his upcoming film 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'.

The director Anil Ravipudi, of Mahesh Babu’s next Sarileru Neekevvaru, gave fans a treat on the actor’s birthday. Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has turned 44-years old on 9th August 2019 and to fans’ rejoice, he released an introductory video of Mahesh Babu as Major Ajay Krishna, his role in the film.

The first schedule of the film was shot in Kashmir from July 5th, 2019 to July 20th, 2019. For the second schedule, a replica set of Konda Reddy Buruju was constructed in Ramoji Film City with an estimated cost of ₹4 crore (US$580,000).

The actor had announced about the same in the month of May.

The film stars Mahesh Babu, Vijayashanti, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Rajendra Prasad in important roles. Sarileru Neekevvaru is an action film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, produced by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainments, and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in January 2020 during the Makar Sankranti festival season.

Mahesh Babu had announced signing two films with Anil during Maharshi promotion. He had said, “My previous outings were very intense projects. So, once I wanted to do a full-length entertainer like Dookudu, I thought to come out from my comfort zone. It would be a refreshing start for me as well. That’s why I selected Anil Ravipudi’s script. The movie is a crucial subject with a blend of entertainment and message.”

Fans are pretty excited about Mahesh Babu’s upcoming release. The production team announced that they have planned to release the film on 12th January 2020, which happens to be Sankranthi.
