KGF Chapter 2: Anant Nag Left Yash & Sanjay Dutt Starrer?

Senior actor Anant Nag may have left Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 over creative differences with the makers. Anant Nag was the narrator in KGF Chapter 1 and played the role of a journalist/author who is pivotal to the storyline. However, if reports are to be believed, Anant Nag may not be a part of the second instalment of KGF. This is just unconfirmed news at this point. Hombale Films, the production house behind KGF Chapter 2, has not issued any statement as of yet.

KGF Chapter 2 is almost done shooting. The makers are currently filming portions of the film in Hyderabad. While Yash will undoubtedly resume his role as the protagonist, KGF Chapter 2 also marks Sanjay Dutt’s Kannada debut. He will be playing the role of the antagonist Adheera. Raveena Tandon will also have a crucial role in the film. According to reports, she could be playing the role of late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The actress has shared multiple Instagram posts relating to KGF 2.

KGF 2 will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film will feature Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. According to media reports, Yash is training hard for the climax of KGF 2 which will feature a fight between him and Sanjay Dutt.

KGF 2 will look to replicate the success of its predecessor which made 200 crores worldwide. It also became the first Sandalwood movie to earn 100 crores in Karnataka. It is the highest-grossing Kannada film to date. KGF 2 will be directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur.

KGF Chapter 2 is scheduled to hit the theatres around July 2020.
