As per recent reports, the first schedule of ‘Shamshera’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor will kick start tomorrow. The production house today held a pooja that is a tradition started by late Yash Chopra before every film and the same was done for ‘Shamshera’ too.
The puja was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor (who is playing Ranbir’s love interest) and the director Karan Malhotra. Sanjay Dutt couldn’t attend the ceremony as he was busy with his prior commitments.
‘Shamshera’ is a high-octane adventure drama set in the heartland of India. The shoot of the action drama will wrap by mid-2019 and it is set to release on July 30, 2020.
Ranbir will be working with YRF after nine years. He has collaborated with the production house for ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of The Year’. The actor will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
