Sidharth Shukla on Balika Vadhu re-run, says, ‘I am definitely going to watch it’
Amid coronavirus outbreak, the hit show 'Balika Vadhu' has been telecasted on television once again.
One of the popular shows, ‘Balika Vadhu’ that was a huge hit and garnered good ratings has made it’s comeback on television today, April 13, 2020, amidst coronavirus outbreak. Now, Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla has reacted on the same.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sidharth Shukla expressed his excitement and said, “It’s fantastic and wonderful and I am definitely going to watch it.”
Further, talking about the comeback of the mythological shows like ‘Ramayan’ and ‘Mahabharat’, the actor said, “It’s really great. People will get to relive the old moments and of course, it brings back childhood memories. I remember looking forward to watching them every Sunday.”
For the unversed, Sidharth Shukla played the role of Shivraj Shekhar aka Shiv in Balika Vadhu. The ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ actor rose fame due to the show and earned him widespread recognition and popularity, including several awards and nominations. He got Gr8 performer of the year award in ITA (Indian Television Academy Awards)
Whereas talking about the popular show, the story is set in rural Rajasthan which revolves around the life of a child bride from childhood to womanhood. The first season centered on Anandi and Jagdish, who were coupled in childhood. The second season follows the lives of Anandi’s daughter Dr. Nandini who was also a child bride.
‘Balika Vadhu’ will be telecasted today from Monday to Friday at 6 pm and it began today.
