Sunny Leone Tops Merit List Of Kolkata College, The Actress Responds

Bollywood actress Sunny Leone‘s name made it to the top of the admission merit list of a Kolkata college on Thursday.
Asutosh College posted the first merit list for admission to BA (Honours) in English on its website on Thursday. The list had Sunny’s name on the top. It has Sunny’s application ID 9513008704, roll number- 207777-6666, and the year of passing 2020 from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

No sooner was the list shared on the internet it went viral on social media. One question was uppermost in each person’s mind, whether Sunny Leone was actually going to make an entry in the college as a student or the name mistakenly topped the list.

When the list was brought to the notice of college authorities they apologized and said, “It is an act of mischief as someone deliberately submitted a wrong application having typed Leone’s name. We have asked the admission department to correct it. We will also conduct an inquiry into the incident.”

Sunny’s name was soon removed from the merit list by the authorities. But it has become the talk of the town.

Sunny Leone responded to the news with humour. She tweeted “See you all in college next semester!!! Hope your in my class ;).”
