Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Background:

The actor was born in Patna (Bihar) to Krishna Kumar Singh and Usha Singh. His father is a retired technical officer, who had worked at the Bihar State Handloom Corporation in Patna. SSR was the youngest of five siblings and he was adored the most for being the younger one in family. After the demise of his mother in 2002, his family to moved to Delhi. Before kickstarting his acting career he had joined Delhi College of Engineering in mechanical engineering. But he left the course in his third year to pursue his acting career and decided to come to Mumbai.

Entry In Bollywood

Sushant Singh Rajput made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che! in the year 2013. Before getting this film, he had appeared in successful television show, Pavitra Rishta and several commercials. Before making his way to the spotlight he had worked as a background dancer which was mentored by Shamik Davar. Right after leaving his studies in his third year he had joined this dance company. He was seen dancing in the background with A-listers such as Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.

Sushant Singh Rajput was known for doing unique range of films. He showcased his acting versatility after doing films such as Chhichhore, Kedarnath, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Pk, Raabta, Shuddh Desi Romance, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. National Level Olympiad winner in Physics

Sushant Singh Rajput was a bright and intelligent kid and he was great in his studies. He had great interest in physics. His love for the subject made him a winner of the National Olympiad in Physics. SSR had secured 7th rank in the DCE Entrance Exam in 2003 which landed him a seat of engineering in the Delhi College of Engineering. Sushant had cleared as many as 11 engineering entrance exam.

The late actor was huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. He had even revealed that when he was a school student he dreamt about becoming a Bollywood star himself after being inspired by SRK. He made sure to peruse his this dream and met the superstar after becoming successful in the glamour industry. Sushant had also talked being a big fan of Shah Rukh at big events.

Sushant Singh  Rajput wanted to emphasis on shaping up young minds of students for the betterment of the nation. In 2017 he had launched Sushant4Education programme for the students to help persue good education from lower-middle backgrounds. Participation In Philanthropy

Sushant Singh Rajput was also a philanthropist and he was known for making several contribution towards a better society. In 2018, he had donated around 1 crore as a relief fund to Kerala after the state was hit with a massive flood. The actor had also donated 1.25 crore rupees to Nagaland floods. The think-tank of the government of India, NITI Aayog had signed Sushant Singh Rajput to promote their platform – Women Entrepreneurship Platform and he was involved in doing such great work.

Sushant Singh Rajput was an avid reader of thick non-fiction books. He owned an advanced telescope, which was placed in the balcony of his Bandra residence. He had bought a peace of land on moon, which makes him first ever Bollywood star to buy a land on the moon. He had bought a piece of lunar land on the far side on the Moon, in region called the Mare Muscoviense of the ‘Sea of Muscovy”.
