Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Rhea Chakraborty Breaks Down

Sushant Singh Rajput shocked the world when he took his own life on June 14. He was reportedly suffering from depression. The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor’s rumored girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, arrived at the Cooper hospital where the actor’s mortal remains were taken. She broke down and turned emotional after seeing Sushant’s dead body at the hospital.

Although Rhea and Sushant have never confirmed their relationship, they have often been spotted together. She considered the actor as one of her best friends. Rhea Chakraborty has been actively away from the media spotlight since the news broke out. However, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the police will approach the actor for a statement.

As per reports by News 18, Rhea was under quarantine with Sushant during the lockdown. However, the actor sent her home a day before he took his own life.

The report also stated that the police want to question the actor further over the details of their relationship, the reason for his depression. They are looking to understand the reasons behind his actions. There has been no suicide note left behind. Police have completed the postmortem and the reports indicate that the actor died of asphyxia due to hanging which confirms that the actor committed suicide.

“Team of 3 doctors have conducted the autopsy of #SushanthSinghRajput. The provisional cause of death is asphyxia due to hanging: Abhishek Trimukhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP),” ANI tweeted.

The news has left the film industry reeling. Celebrities have taken to social media to express their grief over the news.
