Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Disha Vakani aka Dayaben to return back on the show?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved shows on television. It has been running for decades now and still having good TRPs. Dayaben is one of the most popular characters on the show. In 2017, Disha Vakani went on maternity leave and she is not back on the show. She welcomed a baby girl in November 2017.

Earlier there was the buzz that she would be replaced by some actor actress but now reports are doing the rounds that she might make a comeback on the show but from what date she is resuming the shoot is not confirmed yet. As per a report in Times of India, producer Asit Kumarr Modi in an interview revealed that the chances of Disha Vakani returning to the show is high.

Earlier TOI reported that the makers have approached Ami Trivedi to replace Disha Vakani in the show but Ami debunked all the reports and said that she was not approached for the show. She said, “My friends have been telling me that I should take up the role and would suit the character. I have not been offered the role, nor have the makers tried to reach me out.”

Daya and Jethalal Gada’s chemistry are loved by the audiences and if Dayaben comes back on the show, the show will garner more TRPs. We are eagerly waiting for Dayaben to return soon.
