Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior: Ajay Devgn introduce Saif as Udhaybhan in new poster

Ajay Devgn introduces co-star Saif Ali Khan as Udhaybhan Singh Rathore in the upcoming film Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior. Lately, Ajay shared a glimpse of the historical period drama. The new poster of the film came out right a day after Akshay Kumar revealed Ajay Devgn’s poster look from Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero.

Apparently, Ajay Devgn took to his social media handle twitter to unveil the poster of the historical film featuring Sacred Games fame Saif Ali Khan. Meanwhile, in the poster we can see Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan sitting on a throne holding a sword in his hand as he stares intently. For the unversed, it is going to be after 13 years that Saif Ali Khan and Shivaay actor Ajay Devgn will be sharing screen space. The actors were last seen on big screen in film Omkara back in the year of 2006.

According to a report in India Today, Saif Ali Khan spoke about his character Udaybhan from the film. “Udaybhan Singh Rathod, a great warrior who works as a mercenary for the Mughals, is not your regular baddie but doomed Shakespearean hero who ends up on the other’ side. Even in Amar Katha comics he comes across as a cool dude, the kind Johnny Depp has brought to the screen.” he said in an interview.

Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior is all set to release in theaters on January 10, 2020.
