According to a report in the Times Of India, Kapil’s show has been one of the favorites, however, the makers have taken this decision due to many reasons and the main reason was audience’s participation as there is no live audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are no films releasing too, thus, no Bollywood actors are appearing on the show for any film promotion. That’s why the makers decided that it would be perfect to take a break right now and to return back when things go back to normal.

Last year, there were reports that Kapil and his wife Ginni are expecting a second child together, talking about the same, the source further said, that this break would be ideal for the host to stay at home and give quality time to his family as this break will give him the much-needed time to spend with family.  Further, the report said that ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ can return with more entertaining content after a 3-month break.

Kapil will also be making his digital debut later this year, the announcement was made by him on his social media handle.
