Toofan: Farhan Akhtar begins shooting in Dongri for his next sports film

Farhan Akhtar is all set for his upcoming sports film titled Toofan. Apparently, the filmmaker Rakesysh Omprakash Mehra and Wazir actor Farhan Akhtar have began the shoot of Toofan. The director and actor lately reunited since Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Farhan had been arduously training for months to fit into his character.

Farhan Akhtar will be seen as a boxer in the film. His consistent training going on for months can be seen by the first look revealed. He looks raging and fierce less in the boxer look. Farhan Akhtar has began shooting in localities of Dongri and also Dongri. As soon as his first look was revealed, Farhan was garnered with love and appreciation by his fans. His fans can’t wait to see him as a boxer. His hard-core workout and discipline has always been noted. Earlier the Rock on actor had won the hearts of the audience with his role as an athlete in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The actor had slayed that role. No wonder Farhan Akhtar had won the Best Actor award in 15th IIFA Awards.

Sometime ago, Farhan Akhtar had suffered from hairline fracture during shooting for Toofan. However, he recovered from it and resumed the second schedule of the shooting. The much-awaited film Toofan is an Excel Entertainment Production in Association with ROMP Pictures. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film is slated to release in theaters on October 2, 2020.
