Here’s why TXT’s Yeonjun got angry at VICTON’s Subin

Subin is one of the South Korean boy group members, VICTON formed in 2016. VICTON’s Subin her recently revealed the reason why his friend and TXT member Yeonjun was angry at him. Earlier March 2020, Subin appeared on Mnet’s digital studio M2’s “Tingle Interview,” where he disclosed that he was a close friend of TXT’s Yeonjun.

In the same interview, when SUBIN was asked to reveal an unexpected acquaintance in his contacts list, he replied, “TXT’s Yeonjun. He went on to reveal that we were trainees together and our groups’ promotion periods also overlapped once, so we talked a lot then. We’re fairly close.

Today (March 30 KST), Subin held a live season on V Live in which he revealed that Yeonjun had contacted him with a small complaint after seeing the interview.

“We were chatting on a messaging app, and he told me he’d seen my ‘Tingle Interview,’” recalled Subin. “He asked me why I had described us as ‘fairly close’ and said it made him sad.”

“From now on,” Subin added with a smile, “he told me to describe him as a close friend.”

Meanwhile, VICTON — which is composed of seven boys namely, Han Seung-woo, Kang Seung-sik, Heo Chan, Lim Se-jun, Do Han-se, Choi Byung-chan and Jung Su-bin — recently made their first comeback since Han Seung Woo’s return to the group, while TXT celebrated their first anniversary earlier this month.

A few days back, BTS member JIMIN referred TXT group as the babies. Responding to JIMIN’s nickname for their group, Yeonjun shared, “I’ve seen Jimin a lot recently at the studio. He was working on something, and he was using the studio that I use. I briefly went in to get my bag, and Jimin said, ‘Sorry, did you need to use this [space]?’ So I told him, ‘No, no, we were just practicing our choreography.’”

Yeonjun went on to reveal that he was pleased with Jimin’s nickname for TXT and explained the same by saying, “Jimin seems to call us ‘babies’ a lot. It made my heart flutter a little. It made me realize that even though I’m the oldest member of our group, I’m still much younger than [BTS], and to them, I still look cute. So even though it felt strange, I also liked it.”
